Algerian influencer Boualem Naman ("Doualemn") was sentenced to five months suspended imprisonment by a court in Montpellier, France for "incitement not followed by effect to commit a crime or offense" after posting a video calling for an Algerian opponent to be "severely corrected." His lawyer stated that he will appeal the decision. The case has contributed to diplomatic tensions between France and Algeria.
